Worldview is what we believe about the most important issues of life. Our Biblical Worldview is a critical foundation on which we build the rest of our educational methodology and what allows students to securely discern and interact with a world that left unchecked would woo them in the wrong direction.
Wisdom begins with knowledge; however, man in his own natural thinking cannot be truly wise. Wisdom must be spiritually discerned. “Wisdom is the power to see and the inclination to choose the best and highest goal together with the surest means of attaining it. Wisdom is, in fact, the practical side of moral goodness. As such, it is found in its fullness only in God. He alone is naturally and entirely and invariably wise.” – A. W. Tozer.
Worth is what we believe about ourselves and the confidence, security, and strength we find in seeing ourselves through the eyes of God. We realize that in the whole of history, we have been born and given an opportunity for significance and influence, a calling to saturate society with salt and light on a canvas of God’s design.
The Heart is God’s priority. If we see the heart the way God does – from an Old Testament/Hebrew perspective – we realize the heart encompasses much more than just a functional organ in our physiology. The heart in Scripture has eyes and sees, the heart thinks, the heart knows, the heart feels; the heart is central to the design of man and central to God’s design for man as a relational being.
THE WORD OF GOD
What we believe is that the inspired, inerrant, infallible Word of God is central to everything. The word of God is the guiding force behind our thoughts and actions.
